The Company will be recognized as the major nickel and energy storage minerals producer and processor in Europe, complying with and supporting the European Unions’ CRM act. The Company will produce minerals in a sustainable manner, with low production emissions and environmentally benign and energy saving methods, while striving for market leadership in Europe.
BGM Europe will be operating in 2028 in Europe, develop innovative technologies, and will be the leading market player in the niche products within its market of choice.
Why BGM Europe ?
BGM Europe Ltd (BGM) is a specialty materials supplier to the battery, H2 and advanced electronics industry. The Company is using proprietary processes to produce low-cost Nickel Hydroxide, Cobalt, and other minerals for the energy storage industry. As an affiliate company of BG Materials Inc., BGM is targeting chemistries to support commercial scale manufacturing of the Nickel-Zinc battery technology of Æsir Technologies Inc. This vertical integration strategy was adopted to minimize commodity price fluctuations and provide Æsir companies and licensee partners a quality controlled and low-cost supply of key materials. BGM has expanded its offerings to include Nickel Sulfate and Cobalt Sulfate to support the ongoing growth of the Lithium battery sector.

BGM’s objective is to provide conflict-free metals and the lowest-carbon-footprint (LCF) chemistries to the battery industry. Our business model leverages proven bio-leaching and magnesium precipitation processes. It targets strategic nickel mines to produce low-cost battery chemistries, with an emphasis on reducing the overall carbon outputs of traditional mining processes. In addition, BGM is finalizing the development of sustainable “smelter free” recycling of Nickel-Zinc batteries and returning all recycled components to battery grade specifications.

BGM Europe Ltd. (BGM) was formed with the mission to develop a high-performance mining company in Albania and novel mine waste and valorization methods that are safe, environmentally benign, sustainable, and economical. Today, BGM Europe Ltd is leveraging decades of mining competence and engineering skills and mining technology from Finland, Canada, and the USA with the latest advances in material sciences and combining them with BGM´s innovations. BGM Europe Ltd works primarily with nickel, iron and cobalt materials and its main customers are international battery suppliers.
